3. Main Scenario Quests (MSQ)
Your core progression in FFXIV comes through the Main Scenario Quests (MSQ). These story-driven quests not only tell the epic tale of Eorzea but also unlock dungeons, raids, mounts, and key features.

If you’re unsure what to do next, always follow the MSQ. It’s marked with a meteor icon in your quest log and is the fastest way to Final Fantasy XIV Gil level up and access new content.

4. Leveling Up Efficiently
While MSQ will handle most of your leveling, there are several other ways to gain experience:

Dungeons: These 4-player group instances offer great XP and cheap Final Fantasy 14 Gil gear.

FATEs (Full Active Time Events): Open-world group events that reward XP, gil, and reputation.

Guildhests and Duties: Quick group tasks that teach you mechanics and provide bonuses.

Daily Roulettes: A must-do! These offer huge XP boosts and currency for participating in random dungeons or trials each day.
